Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Bank Chef to deliver hotel/restaurant standards with a focus on fresh seasonal food and resident wellbeing. Assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious menus while managing stock, audits and budgets to ensure high quality meals in our residential homes.

You will lead by example, create a warm kitchen environment, and participate in ongoing learning and development through our rewards and recognition programme.

Qualifications

• Qualified chef with City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent
• Experience leading a team
• Good nutrition understanding
• Experience with fresh seasonal food
• Ability to create a welcoming environment
• Knowledge of HACCP

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef in absence
• Work with fresh produce to deliver high-quality dishes
• Create a warm, efficient and fun kitchen environment
