Job summary

Loungers plc at Portico Lounge is hiring a Kitchen Assistant on a temporary basis. You’ll help keep the kitchen clean and organised while supporting chefs with prep when needed.

It’s a simple but vital role that keeps the team running smoothly, with seasonal work and potential for extension. You’ll earn up to £12.71/hr plus tips, receive paid breaks, staff meals every shift, and 50% off food and drinks from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospitality setting is helpful but not required.
• We value a positive attitude, reliability and a team-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen clean, tidy and well organised throughout the day.
• Support chefs with food prep during service and prep time.
• Follow hygiene, allergen, and health and safety procedures at all times.
• Work as part of one team to deliver a great customer experience.
