Hospitality Team Member

YHA Buttermere

Fixed term, flexible contract

Full time, 25 hours per week

£12.21 per hour (applies to all, including those under 21)

Staff accommodation available at £69.83 per week

What will you be doing?

We provide comprehensive training, but from day one, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing excellent customer service to all guests
• Working at reception, sharing insights about the hostel and local area, ensuring guests feel welcomed and informed
• Using our systems for guest check-ins, check-outs, and food and beverage sales
• Carrying out housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, comfortable environment
• Assisting in food preparation and serving with warmth and pride to enhance sales

Skills and Experience Needed

We seek candidates who excel in customer-facing roles and possess the following qualities:

• Experience in face-to-face customer service
• Teamwork skills, with the ability to support colleagues
• Strong timekeeping and flexibility to work various shifts
• Ability to manage workload pressures and prioritize tasks
