Job summary

Verdant Parks is hiring a Grounds & Site Maintenance Team Member for Heather View at Stanhope, Durham. Salary is £12.71 per hour for a temporary, seasonal role ending October, with variable hours.

Join a hands-on team responsible for parks, gardens, decking, and facilities to keep the site welcoming and safe for guests and owners. A valid driving licence and willingness to work outdoors in all weather are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar maintenance or grounds role is ideal.
• Practical, reliable, and quick to learn attitude
• Skills such as joinery, plumbing, or landscaping are an advantage

Responsibilities

• Maintaining all grounds, gardens, play areas, and public spaces to a high standard
• Repairing and landscaping pitches, including decking, patios, and paths
• Assisting with siting and de-siting caravans and lodges
• Safely operating and maintaining mowers, tools, and equipment
• Keeping walkways, fields, and facilities clean, clear, and litter-free
• Ensuring the park always looks attractive, welcoming, and safe for guests and owners
