About the role
Come and help us in the Garden this Summer!
We are the independent charity that loves and looks after six of the most wonderful palaces in the world. The palaces are the setting for the stories that shape us all, and we’re bringing them to people in ways that mean more to them. We want everyone to find themselves in the spaces and stories we share.
As a seasonal Gardener at Hampton Court, you will support our full-time team with tasks such as planting, weeding, grass-cutting, dead-heading, and more. You’ll be assigned to work in a specific garden area, which you’ll help maintain to the highest standards, while also providing excellent customer service to visitors.
A little previous garden maintenance experience is desirable, and a driver’s license is an advantage, but care and enthusiasm are equally important. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork skills, and the ability to use your own initiative.
You should enjoy working outdoors, be reliable and enthusiastic, and have a suitable level of fitness to carry out the fundamental requirements of the job.
If you think this role suits you, we offer a spectacular working environment and the chance to explore a new career in horticulture.
