Job summary

Oasis Academy John Williams is seeking invigilators to support autumn and busy exam periods. No prior invigilating experience is required as full training will be provided.

Seasonal work is available in November and during February, May and June, offering a chance to contribute to a calm exam environment and support teachers. Role involves preparing rooms, admitting candidates, ensuring correct papers and materials, and following examination guidelines under the supervision of the Examinations

Qualifications

• Training will be provided prior to start.

• Ability to work during busy exam periods and seasonal timelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the examination room with correct seating and basic equipment.
• Admit candidates quietly and ensure they sit in the assigned places.
• Verify correct examination papers and relevant materials are available.
• Conduct examinations according to guidelines and report issues to the lead invigilator.
• Maintain vigilance during the exam and avoid other tasks.
• Assist with collecting and sorting papers and equipment for dispatch.
