Job summary

Ambassador Theatre Group is seeking a Seasonal Christmas Party Team Member to support the Events Manager and Head Chef in delivering a high standard of service during the festive period.

Role involves guest hospitality, food service, and clearing duties across multiple party nights, with opportunities for additional hours in the theatre and related functions. Applicants should be flexible, customer-focused and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Have experience of working in the food service industry.
• Ability to remain flexible and calm whilst working under pressure and within time constraints.
• Great work ethic and care for quality.
• Be observant and focused on the customer.
• Relate well to others.
• Communicate effectively to colleagues and management.
• Be flexible and reliable with working hours; varied hours will include evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with customers, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
• Deliver excellent food service for each Christmas Party.
• Work with team to create a friendly and welcoming environment.
• Identify risks to customers or staff and take appropriate actions to keep everyone safe.
• Collaborate with others to ensure tasks are completed.
• Serve food, clear plates/glass, and assist with washing for future parties.
