About the role

Availability Window

  • Days: Thursday, Friday, Saturday
  • From time: 15:00
  • To time: 23:00

Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

It’s our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you prefer to work fewer hours (minimum 12), we have opportunities for this too and would love to hear from you.

The table shows the preferred availability times during the week. We will schedule your hours within these times, with 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. We support flexibility; if your available times closely match but are not exactly the advertised times, we still encourage you to apply. Read more.

Responsibilities include:
  • Providing excellent customer service with passion and pride.

  • Working in service, picking, and replenishment areas as needed.
  • Following training to work safely and effectively.

  • Participating in seasonal, community, and charity events.
  • Understanding store performance and contributing to sales, waste reduction, and profit.
  • Handling products with care to maintain quality.
  • Living our values and following policies.
  • Accepting deliveries when required.
Requirements:
