Dunelm’s Pausa Coffee Shop in Carlisle is hiring a Barista/Coffee Shop Assistant for a seasonal role running through to 13 February 2027. The position requires a minimum of 16 hours per week and offers a fast-paced, customer‑focused environment where you pour great coffee and create a friendly, welcoming experience.

You’ll develop product knowledge, work with tasty food items and ensure cleanliness and safety standards while delivering joyful customer moments.

• Serving hot and cold beverages that delight our customers
• Dishing up our delicious savoury and sweet food items, ensuring presentation sparks joy
• Ensuring all cooked food is nice and hot so they can be enjoyed as intended
• Keeping the restaurant tables clear and sanitised as promptly as possible to maintain our customers high expectations
• Providing an exceptional standard of cleanliness throughout the kitchen, service area and restaurant
• Consistently deliver exceptional customer service to support CSAT scores, ensuring every customer receives a welcoming experience
• As part of this role you will be working with ingredients including dairy, nuts, meat products including pork
