Job summary

Dunelm is seeking a Barista/Coffee Shop Assistant for Pausa in our store. This seasonal role is minimum 16 hours per week and runs until 13 February 2027. The position involves serving beverages, food items, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service in a fast-paced cafe setting.

You will engage with customers, build product knowledge, and work as part of a supportive team to ensure every guest leaves satisfied and with a smile.

Responsibilities

• Be customer obsessed – consistently consider the impact of your actions on the customer experience, and strive to deliver joyful experiences in the most effective and thoughtful way
• Serving hot and cold beverages that delight our customers
• Dishing up our delicious savoury and sweet food items, ensuring presentation sparks joy
• Ensuring all cooked food is nice and hot so they can be enjoyed as intended
• Keeping the restaurant tables clear and sanitised as promptly as possible to maintain our customers high expectations
• Providing an exceptional standard of cleanliness throughout the kitchen, service area and restaurant
• Consistently deliver exceptional customer service to support CSAT scores, ensuring every customer receives a welcoming, helpful, and memorable experience
• As part of this role you will be working and in contact with a variety of different ingredients including dairy, nuts, meat products including pork
