Job summary

Dunelm Pausa Coffee Shop Assitant position in Wakefield is a seasonal role with minimum 16 hours per week. You’ll be at the heart of Pausa, serving drinks and food, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering a welcoming customer experience.

The role involves working late and weekend shifts, with duties ranging from beverage preparation to food service and ensuring high health and safety standards. Seasonal contract through February 13, 2027.

• Providing an exceptional standard of cleanliness throughout the kitchen, service area and restaurant
• Consistently deliver exceptional customer service to support strong CSAT scores
• As part of this role you will be working and in contact with a variety of different ingredients including dairy, nuts, meat products including pork

Pay -

16-17 - £8.00 per hour.

18+ - £12.71 per hour.

This is a seasonal position lasting until 13 February 2027.

Your local store is looking for a minimum 16 hrs per week Barista/Coffee Shop Assistant.

You'll take pride in every cup you pour, build expert knowledge of our product range and meaningfully connect with our customers. Whether it's a regular grabbing their usual or a first-time visitor, you'll make sure every customer leaves feeling better than when they arrived. It's a busy, hands-on role that takes energy, focus and a fair bit of graft.

What you'll be doing

Whilst meeting high standards for Health and Safety and Food Hygiene, our Coffee Shop Assistants function as part of a tight knit team, working well under pressure and excelling in product knowledge to deliver an exceptional experience for our customers.
