Searcys is looking for a creative and passionate Chef de Partie to join the team at the world-famous National Portrait Gallery.

As a Chef de Partie in this venue, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the best chefs in the industry, creating high-quality dishes alongside the Junior Sous Chef and Sous Chef. You will work closely with a structured team to deliver lunch and dinner services.

Searcys proudly opened the extraordinary Portrait Restaurant in London's iconic National Portrait Gallery in collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Richard Corrigan. Since opening, we have been recognized for delivering world-class food and drink and are now one of the top restaurants to visit in London.

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: up to £16.20 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide food and service to a high standard, assisting senior chefs with functions in various areas.
  • Coordinate with team members to plan food provision across all kitchen areas.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations, maintaining the pre-agreed menu without disruption.
  • Manage stock levels, including ordering and waste control.
  • Ensure food presentation aligns with the standards set by senior chefs.
  • Comply with all legal requirements, including fire regulations, security, licensing, and local authority stipulations.
  • Adhere to all health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain good organization and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Work efficiently under pressure.
  • Experience in a 5-star hotel or Michelin-starred restaurant is desirable.
  • Work effectively as part of a team.
