SEO Specialist (Part-Time, 3–4 Days/Week)

Location: Edinburgh hybrid (1x per week)

Wyoming Interactive is an award-winning digital solutions agency who specialize in designing and engineering innovative solutions that deliver transformative results for industry leaders in Life Sciences, Financial Services and Technology. Through our digital services we help our clients connect and communicate better with their customers.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented SEO Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis (3–4 days per week), focusing on solving upstream customer problems using content, site structure, and data-led insight.

In this role, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop purposeful digital strategies that drive meaningful results for our clients.

The Role

As our SEO Specialist, you’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to uncover opportunities, design informed strategies, and shape content that delivers.

• Search Intent Research: Conduct deep keyword and search intent research to uncover content opportunities.
• Strategy Development: Map keyword insights to site architecture, content strategies, and user journeys.
• Website Auditing: Audit websites and make recommendations on content, navigation, and information architecture.
• Cross-team Collaboration: Work with content writers, designers, and developers to bring ideas to life.
• Performance Analysis: Use Analytics, Search Console, and other tools to identify opportunities and measure impact.
• Technical Guidance: Apply technical SEO knowledge to inform broader strategy.

What You Won’t Be Doing

This isn’t a role for chasing vanity metrics. We don’t do link building or outreach, and we don’t obsess over top-line rankings.

We focus on evidence-led SEO that supports user journeys and drives lasting value for clients.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in SEO, agency-side.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Proficient with data analysis tools (e.g., GA4, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
• Understanding of technical SEO fundamentals.
• Communication Skills: Ability to explain SEO concepts clearly to clients and team members alike.
• Collaborative Approach: Experience working effectively with multidisciplinary teams (designers, developers, strategists).
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Curious, thoughtful, and motivated by solving real problems—not just ticking SEO boxes.
