Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and talented SEO Executive to join our digital marketing team. As an SEO Executive, you will play a crucial role in optimising our online presence and improving our website's search engine rankings. You will work closely with the digital marketing team to develop and execute effective SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and improve our website's visibility and conversions from website visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Keyword research: Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-value keywords and phrases relevant to our industry and target audience.

· On-Page SEO: Write and optimise website content, including meta tags, headers, and on-page elements, to enhance search engine visibility and user experience.

· Off-Page SEO: Implement off-page SEO strategies, including link building and outreach, to improve domain authority and build high-quality backlinks.

· Technical SEO: Identify and address technical SEO issues which may affect website performance, such as site speed, mobile-friendliness, and crawlability.

· Content Optimisation: Ensure that all website content is optimised for search engines and aligns with SEO best practices.

· Conversion Rate Optimisation: Monitor web traffic journey to improve conversion rates and drive leads into the business.

· Analytics and Reporting: Monitor website traffic, keyword rankings, and other relevant metrics using tools such as Google Analytics and SEO software. Prepare regular reports and provide insights to track progress and make data-driven decisions.

· Competitor Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.

· Local SEO: Manage and optimise local SEO efforts, including Google My Business listings, local citations, and customer reviews.

· SEO Audits: Perform regular SEO audits to identify and rectify issues affecting search engine rankings and user experience.

· Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to ensure the website's continued success.

o Plan, create, and manage paid ad campaigns on Google Ads, Bing, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.

o Conduct A/B testing of ad copy, targeting, and landing pages.

o Monitor daily and monthly budgets and improve cost-per-conversion (CPA).

o Analyse campaign performance and create detailed performance reports.

o Stay current on PPC trends, algorithm changes, and platform updates

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, or a related field.

· Minimum of 2 years proven experience as an SEO Executive or in a similar role.

· Proficiency in SEO tools and software, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or similar.

· Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong background in content writing

· Analytical mindset and the ability to interpret data to drive actionable insights.

· Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website content management systems (e.g., WordPress).

· Experience with SaaS product website SEO is a plus.

· Certifications in SEO or digital marketing are a bonus.

We offer hybrid working in our Glasgow location with 2 days in the office per week and 3 days at home. We also offer a company pension scheme and company performance-based bonus scheme.
