Job summary

Sofina Foods Europe in Grimsby is hiring a Production Operative to join a busy team producing and packing fresh and frozen seafood to quality, safety and customer standards. Full training is available, with opportunities to develop your skills and progress.

You’ll work shifts 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm, Monday to Friday with weekly rotation. The role includes preparing ingredients, feeding production lines, packing products, checking quality, operating equipment, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• You’ll be reliable, practical and comfortable working as part of a busy production team.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Prepare, process and pack pork products to specification.
• Check product quality, including size, weight and presentation.
• Operate equipment safely following training.
• Pack and label products accurately.
• Keep your work area clean and organised.
• Work to production targets and daily plans.
• Report any product, equipment or safety issues.

Responsibilities

• As Production Operative, you’ll work as part of a busy team producing and packing fresh and frozen seafood products to required quality, safety and customer standards.
• Feed production lines and prepare ingredients as needed.
• Pack and label products accurately and efficiently.
