Role Overview

The Fish Logistics Manager will oversee and coordinate the transportation, documentation, and delivery of seafood products from processing to final destination—both domestically and internationally. This hands-on role requires excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong background in logistics and export operations, ideally within the fish or food processing sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of fish product logistics, including planning, transportation, and delivery schedules.
  • Liaise directly with customers, trucking companies, and export partners to ensure smooth and timely operations.
  • Maintain and manage export documentation and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Adapt quickly to changing business needs and priorities in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including processing, sales, and quality control.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs and delivery performance.
  • Ensure high standards of paperwork accuracy and record-keeping.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Support the development of scalable logistics systems as the business grows.
  • Be available for flexible working hours to accommodate transport schedules and time-sensitive deliveries.

Skills And Experience

  • Proven background in logistics or supply chain management, preferably within the food or fish processing industries.
  • Experience with trucking and international export logistics.
  • Strong understanding of export regulations and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable dealing with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Comfortable learning new systems, tools, and processes.
