LOCH FYNE OYSTERS' Hebridean Mussels site is located on the beautiful Isle of Lewis, situated off the west coast of Scotland. The Isle of Lewis forms the main island in the Outer Hebrides and has an abundance of dramatic landscapes, a unique Gaelic culture and fascinating history; wild mountains, immense white beaches and rugged coastlines - a stunning place to live and work.
POSITION: SEA OPERATIVE
PAY RATE: £14.15 per hour
CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent
CONTRACTED HOURS: 40 hours per week (Full Time)
OVERTIME: Paid at x1.5 basic rate for hours worked over 40 hours per week
OTHER INFO: Driving licence and your own transport are essential for this role

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and self-motivated person to join our HEBRIDEAN MUSSELS TEAM, assisting with the farming and processing of shellfish at our EARSHADER site, located on the ISLE OF LEWIS, OUTER HEBRIDES. The ideal person will be able to work well within a small, focused team. Previous aquaculture experience with transferrable related skills and qualifications would be beneficial. The role will involve working outside, including boat handling, as well as inside the site's Mussel Farm Centre.
Powerboat Level 2 Commercially Endorsed or equivalent qualification would be advantageous.
