Job description

Are you an experienced freight forwarder with sea & air logistics experience? Maybe just sea, but keen to learn air freight too? If so, Portsmouth based freight forwarder, may have the perfect role for you.

The Role

• This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a good solid forwarding background, confident managing shipments from start to finish, including completing Customs formalities.
• Working from lovely offices near the centre of Portsmouth, you’ll be part of a friendly team, working together to ensure maximum customer satisfaction, along with playing a key role in the company’s success.
• A typical day would include managing both sea & air shipments, dealing with overseas agents, booking shipments direct with carriers, updating clients on the progress of their shipments, providing Customs expertise to clients, completing Customs entries and coordinating shipments all the way through to final destination.
• The role is predominantly 90% sea freight, so don’t worry if you lack the air freight experience as this can be trained.
