SE London and SE England Haemoglobinopathy clinical fellow

Participate and integrate SELSE HCC activities, taking direction from the clinical leads, their clinical supervisors and other colleagues as appropriate. Coordinate multiple aspects of work to local and network audits, as per agreed and established timelines with the network audit lead and local haemoglobinopathy service leads. Support the network lead in preparation of the annual report. Participate in local outpatient clinics to release consultants for outreach clinical duties and other HCC network related work. Together with network management team, liaise with Local Haemoglobinopathy Teams to ensure completion of network audits and implementation of network guidelines. Work collaboratively with network management team and colleagues across SELSE HCC and colleagues in partner institutions, in accordance with HCCs requirements. Participate in clinical governance activity to ensure network guidelines are kept updated by working with the network guideline writing groups, both adult and paediatric. Ensure network guidelines are implemented locally and across network SHT and LHTs. Ensure guidelines on network website are kept up to date. Ensure network and local audits are completed. Maintain flexibility in the working week to participate in outpatient clinics as discussed with local supervisor based on clinical need and outreach clinic burden. To participate in clinical and other service activities with the object of ensuring a high standard of patient care. To participate in local and network wide teaching and training. Attend the SELSE HCC business and strategy meetings, and be an active participant. Support management team including the Chair and deputy in preparation for these meetings. Attend SELSE monthly MDT meetings.
