Job summary

Bloomberg L.P. is seeking a Technical Product Manager for Terminal Application SDLC Tools in London. You will define the next-generation tooling strategy, collaborating with engineers, security, and SREs to raise developer velocity and reliability across Bloomberg Terminal development.

Lead roadmap execution for internal development tools, drive AI-enabled workflows, and balance automation with security and quality. This is a cross-functional, high-impact role in the CTO Office.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in technical product management or a senior engineering role.
• Experience building or owning developer tools, internal platforms, or SDLC systems with engineers as your primary users.
• Track record of creating product visions and roadmaps, evaluating trade-offs, prioritizing, and managing releases.
• Ability to work across teams to break down complex engineering and operational problems into milestones.
• Deep understanding of software development lifecycle best practices.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with engineers, SREs, security partners, other PMs and senior management.

Responsibilities

• Define the next-generation Terminal application SDLC tooling strategy with automation and AI-assisted development.
• Shape standards, workflows, and tooling to improve developer velocity, software quality, and reliability.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, providing transparency into roadmaps, dependencies, and prioritization.
• Advocate for broad adoption of SDLC tooling across engineering teams and measure impact.
• Own intake, evaluation, and prioritization of new tooling and workflow requests.
• Balance developer experience with platform reliability, security, and modernization to shape backlog.
• Prioritize development of relevant technical documentation, onboarding materials, and training resources.
