Job summary

Legal & General is seeking an experienced SDET to join the engineering team, building, testing and supporting scalable, secure, cloud-based applications on AWS. You’ll shape testing strategies, improve platform reliability and drive engineering excellence across modern solutions.

You will work with Java or JVM-based languages, implement test-driven development, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments while mentoring peers and promoting continuous learning in an Agile

Qualifications

• Strong experience developing and testing enterprise applications using Java or other JVM-based languages.
• Proven expertise with AWS cloud services including serverless and containerised solutions.
• Knowledge of software testing practices, including test-driven development and automation frameworks.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines, source control processes and automated deployment practices.
• Good understanding of microservices, distributed systems, APIs and modern software architecture patterns.
• Knowledge of web security and secure software development practices.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test who is passionate about quality engineering, automation and continuous improvement. Who we're looking for:
