AND Digital is seeking a data-focused QA Engineer (SDET) to ensure the quality, accuracy, reliability, and performance of data pipelines and integrations across our data platform. The role will focus on testing Snowflake, SQL-based data transformations, Apache Flink pipelines, and end-to-end data integrations.

The successful candidate will work closely with Data Engineers, Software Engineers, and other stakeholders to design and implement effective testing strategies, validate data flows,

Qualifications

• Experience testing data pipelines and data platforms.
• Strong SQL skills and data modelling understanding.
• Familiarity with Snowflake and data warehouse testing.
• Experience validating batch and streaming data jobs.

Responsibilities

• Test batch and streaming data pipelines for accuracy and reliability.
• Validate data transformations and business rules using SQL/Snowflake.
• Test streaming data processing with Apache Flink and ensure fault tolerance.
• Verify end-to-end data flows between source systems and targets.
• Develop and maintain automated data validation tests.
• Identify data quality issues and assess performance and scalability.
• Investigate defects and collaborate with engineering to resolve them.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD workflows.
