Job summary

North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust (NCIC) in Carlisle is seeking a band 5 registered nurse to join the Same Day Emergency Care service. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment, across medical, surgical, vascular, urology and oncology pathways.

You will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate care with minimal supervision, contribute to ward management, and uphold NMC standards.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with active NMC Registration.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.
• Mentorship qualification and Aims Course.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and deliver and evaluate nursing care, providing the prescribed nursing care without supervision.
• Assist in the management and provision of all aspects of patient care.
• Take charge of the ward as requested and supervise less experienced staff.
