This post comprises 21 hours per week on a permanent basis, with an additional 7 hours offered on a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2026.
You’ll be joining Shropshire Domestic Abuse Service (SDAS), providing temporary accommodation support to families and individuals across Shropshire who are experiencing or have experienced domestic abuse. SDAS is part of a wider team offering a range of support services, including independent living for older people and specialist accommodation for younger individuals.
This role is based in our safe temporary accommodation for those over 16 fleeing domestic abuse. You will help maintain an effective support service aimed at enabling survivors to develop skills and resources to move on from abuse, maintaining independence and self-reliance.
You will be required to travel between our safe locations to provide support, responding to the changing needs of the service and temporary accommodation sites.
