Job description

Our OEM Client based in Gaydon, is searching for a Scrum Master - Senior Specialist to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a 12-month contract position initially until 31st March 2026, with the potential for further extensions.

Umbrella Pay Rate: £33.64 per hour.

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate and lead teams in transforming to Agile ways of working within our business. You'll support the team in solving difficult problems, uncovering challenges, managing relationships and ensure that our deliveries drive and exceed our standards e2e.

This role is a unique opportunity to help define, support and grow the Agile performance within the business. In this role you will be providing leadership and oversight on various projects of a complex nature, lead and be responsible for complex initiatives in cross functional and cross located teams.

You will also influence, motivate and support other Scrum Masters and influence PO and Stakeholders to ensure teams are high performing, engaged and delivering maximum value. You will be working closely with our multi-disciplined teams with opportunities to learn and enhance your career. You will have opportunities to contribute to the strategic direction of the products we deliver, as well as inspiring and influencing the wider organisation as we transform how we build vehicles and operates, together.

Skills Required:

• Experience in facilitating and leading teams in transforming to Agile ways of working.
• Ability to support the team in solving difficult problems, uncovering challenges, managing relationships, and ensuring deliveries drive and exceed standards.
• Leadership and oversight on various complex projects and initiatives in cross functional and cross located teams.
• Influencing, motivating, and supporting other Scrum Masters and stakeholders to ensure high performing teams.
• Ability to communicate and engage with individuals at all levels in the business, from both technical and non-technical backgrounds.
• Strong problem solving and leadership skills, actively developing and supporting team members.
• Able to create and maintain a safe working environment, helping with conflict resolution across co-located and virtual teams.

Experience Required:

• Experience managing projects and backlogs in tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
• Scrum Master certification is desirable.

Experience Preferred:

• Automotive experience.
• Project Management and University Bachelor's Degree.
