As the GB’s regulator for the energy industry, Ofgem works on behalf of energy consumers to ensure that every household and business can rely on a safe and environmentally sustainable energy supply. We will become the regulator for heat networks in 2026 and to support this work we are developing a new digital service to interact with the heat network industry and facilitate our regulatory activity.
This is an opportunity for an experienced hybrid project manager and Scrum Master to join the heat networks team working to develop the new digital service to support the new regulations. We are seeking someone with experience of working in both waterfall and agile methodologies, who can coach the delivery teams toward rapidly deliver incrementally, run an end-to-end project (Waterfall) and lead agile ceremonies. The candidate must be comfortable working with SROs, Steering Groups and reporting programme level risks and issues, deliverables and milestones.
The challenges will be many, from procuring technical solutions through to implementing business change, so the role requires a high achiever; someone who would be proud to know they drove / achieved strategic change in a well-known, high-profile UK regulator.
