Job summary

Bauer Media Group is hiring a Scrum Master to establish agile ways of working for a newly formed data squad in London, with a hybrid working model and roughly one day on site each week. You will join our Data & Decision Sciences team, collaborating with Data Scientists, Analytics Engineers and Product Owners to drive outcomes.

You will coach the team, remove impediments, align stakeholders, and ensure delivery against the roadmap, using Jira and Confluence to maintain transparency across markets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Scrum Master in Agile delivery environments.
• Experience coaching teams and stakeholders in agile principles.
• Ability to manage planning, dependencies, risks and deadlines.
• Experience delivering projects across multiple markets or functions.
• Certified Scrum Master or equivalent Agile certification.
• Familiarity with data/BI environments is a plus.
• Experience launching new teams or greenfield environments.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
• Establish and improve agile processes and ways of working for a new team.
• Coach on Agile principles and Scrum practices within a data-focused setting.
• Maintain and optimise Jira and Confluence for transparency and delivery plans.
• Drive planning, tracking and delivery against roadmaps and timelines.
• Support backlog refinement and alignment of priorities.
• Promote transparency, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Provide reporting and delivery metrics to support stakeholder confidence.
