Job summary

Inspired Thinking Group (ITG) is seeking a Scrum Master on a contract basis to lead sprint teams and drive enterprise web projects. The role combines project management and Scrum Master responsibilities, working with developers, business analysts, and product owners from clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SCRUM, agile tools like JIRA, and a background in fast-paced agency environments. A Midlands/UK hybrid setup is preferred, with travel to the Midlands when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading sprint teams in SCRUM environments.
• Clear communication and ability to lead discussions with internal teams and external clients.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure.
• Background in digital agency/consultancy with PM experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate sprint teams within a SCRUM framework for multiple projects.
• Coordinate across platforms with developers, BAs and client stakeholders such as Product Owners.
• Communicate clearly with all team members and external clients to keep projects aligned.
• Operate in a hybrid role with flexibility for Midlands travel and UK remote work.

We are currently on the lookout for a Scrum Master to join our team on a contract basis. Our Scrum Masters follow mature Agile methods holding a mix of Project Management and Scrum Master responsibilities.

Projects that you will deliver are enterprise grade web-based solutions that will see you work alongside developers, Business Analysts and external client stakeholders such as Product Owners.

Personality is key and you need to fit the role as well as the team in equal measure. ITG prides itself on its culture and every new individual will need to be hard working, enthusiastic and willing to help.

Ideally, we are looking for Midlands-based individuals who are happy to work on a hybrid model, with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote. However, we are also open to hiring remote workers in the UK, as long as you are prepared to travel to the Midlands from time to time.

• You are great at managing and motivating sprint teams in a SCRUM framework for Agile projects
• You will be managing several projects at the same time across different platforms showcasing an ability to keep organised whilst under pressure
• We need a clear communicator who can lead conversations with different team members internally at ITG as well as external clients
• Due to this unique hybrid role, we are open to applications from a digital agency/consultancy background who have Project Manager experience and are looking for a new challenge

Requirements

• Demonstrate experience of working as a Scrum Master or Digital Project Manager
• Experience using Agile management tools such as JIRA
• Experience of working within a fast-paced agency environment
• Experience of writing functional specifications
• Prince2 or CSM accreditation
• Experience working on Automotive projects
