We're looking for an inspiring and experienced Scrum Master to join our team of established Scrum Masters within our product practice —where innovation meets impact. In this pivotal role, you'll guide one or more squads to deliver cutting-edge digital and data products in close partnership with the business. Working with a mix of in-house and partner development teams, you'll champion Agile values, remove roadblocks, and ensure the team is set up for success.
As a servant leader, you'll motivate and coach teams through fast-paced delivery, embodying the principles of Scrum and Kanban. You'll be the glue that brings people together—fostering collaboration, clarity, and continuous improvement. What will you be doing?
As a Scrum Master, you'll be at the heart of Agile delivery—driving performance, championing collaboration, and ensuring your team thrives.
Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to keep delivery on track
Guide teams and stakeholders in adopting Agile/Scrum practices to deliver real value to customers
Proactively remove roadblocks, enabling teams to stay focused and productive
Foster self-organisation and clarity of purpose within the team
Ensure the team consistently follows Agile principles and best practices
Drive High-Performing Teams We
Boost team morale, efficiency, and output by creating an open, honest, and respectful environment
Act as a coach and mentor, supporting continuous improvement and team development
Protect the team from distractions and external interference
Facilitate creative problem solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution
Promote transparency and build a safe space where issues are surfaced and addressed constructively
Lead by example, using a servant leadership style to empower and uplift the team
What does it take to be a Scrum Master?
We're looking for a passionate Scrum Master with a strong foundation in Agile delivery and a drive for continuous improvement. Ideally, you’ll bring:
·Certified Expertise: First or second-level Scrum Master certification (e.g. CSM, PSM I/II, CSP) is desirable
·Agile Know-how: Solid experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, XP, and an understanding of iterative and incremental development
·Technical Insight: Familiarity with software development processes and Agile techniques like TDD, ATDD, continuous integration/testing, user stories, and pairing
·Methodology Awareness: Knowledge of both Agile and traditional delivery frameworks (e.g. Waterfall), with the ability to explain their differences and apply the right approach
·Tool Proficiency: Skilled in Agile tools such as JIRA, VSTS, and Confluence, with the ability to tailor their use for team effectiveness
·Performance-Driven: Proven ability to deliver outcomes on time, using metrics like velocity, burndown, and backlog tracking to drive continuous improvement
·People Leadership: Experience in day-to-day team and stakeholder management, with strong communication and coaching skills
·Project Management: Understanding of project planning and execution, with the ability to manage work to ensure successful, timely, and budget-conscious delivery
·Value Focused: Able to articulate ROI and demonstrate the value of Agile practices and product delivery
