Job summary

A leading technology firm in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support agile delivery across digital transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will facilitate agile ceremonies, coach teams, and promote Agile best practices. Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and excellent communication skills required. This is a contract role with a duration of 6 months, starting ASAP.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews
• Coach teams on Agile principles and Scrum practices
• Identify and remove blockers to ensure smooth delivery
• Collaborate with Product Owners to manage backlogs and priorities
• Track and report on sprint progress and team performance
• Promote Agile best practices across the organisation

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication skills
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar
• Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, PSM) desirable
