Pay Transparency Notice: The target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, and vision).

Pay Range: £53,100—£53,100 GBP

Responsibilities

• Screening processes: screen end-to-end to identify potential risks associated with customers, individuals, and entities.
• Utilize screening tools and databases to ensure comprehensive coverage and accuracy of results.
• Conduct investigative review and analysis in support of BSA/AML regulatory compliance policies, including PEP, Sanctions and Travel Rule alerts from screening systems and referrals sourced from law enforcement and other company lines of business.
• Collaboration and communication: analyze screening results and escalate potential risks to FCCS and other relevant stakeholders for further investigation.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams to provide insights on screening findings and contribute to decision-making processes.
• Maintain detailed documentation to demonstrate compliance with regulations and internal policies and procedures.
• Quality Assurance: maintain high standards of quality in screening processes by adhering to established procedures and guidelines; incorporate feedback from Quality Assurance; participate in peer reviews and audits.
• Continuous Improvement: stay current with industry standards in KYC, BSA/AML, and OFAC; identify opportunities for process improvements; contribute to best practices to optimize workflows and mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in financial services, crypto, investigations, legal, or tech, focusing on screening, compliance, or regulatory matters.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Experience working with Google Sheets, Google Docs, Excel, and Word.
• Flexible and adaptable to the evolving needs of a high-growth and fast-paced environment.
• Ready to support in a 24/7 environment.
• Organized with a high level of attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Professional certification in AML or Fraud (e.g. CAMS, CFCS, CFE).
• Experience in project management, analytics, or vendor management.
• Advanced degree in business, finance, or customer experience (CX).
• Proficiency with tools such as Google apps, JIRA, Hummingbird, and Salesforce Service Cloud.
• Experience collaborating with external outsource business partners.
