A high-performing NHS Trust in London seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Speech and Language Therapist for the Adult Community Rehabilitation Team. Now is an exciting time to join the Adult Community Rehabilitation Team. We are looking for a highly motivated, skilled, experienced Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Speech and Language Therapist to work as the lead for screening within the team.
The Adult Community Rehabilitation Team (ACRT) is a forward-thinking service that provides an interdisciplinary rehabilitation service to adult clients. The team is split into two specialist branches, physical conditions and neurological conditions consisting of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language therapy, Clinical Psychology, Dietetics and Rehabilitation Assistants.
The team is supported by a Consultant Allied Health Professional, Consultant Neuropsychologist and a Consultant Neurologist. Therapy intervention is goal directed and flexible. The service is essentially community based, and clients can also be seen in on-site facilities across the borough.
You will work alongside colleagues in a modern open plan canal side office with roof terrace. Main duties of the jobYou must have expertise working with clients in a community setting. You will lead, manage and co-ordinate the screening team which involves close working with other community therapy colleagues and referrers.
You will have support from an administrator, other ACRT colleagues, the Head and Deputy Heads of Service to ensure the smooth running of ACRT's 'front door'.
The role involves reviewing and streamlining the screening service within ACRT and will have be expected to both lead and support wider innovative quality improvement projects focused on improving client outcomes and community therapies flow.
