Role Description

As a Screenwriter at CBWS Entertainment, you will be instrumental in crafting the narratives that form the backbone of our visual storytelling. You’ll transform creative concepts into immersive scripts that inspire, engage, and entertain. Whether you’re developing original features, episodic series, or digital content, your work will shape the future of our projects and captivate diverse audiences around the globe.

Key Responsibilities

- Script Crafting: Develop original screenplay concepts—from initial ideas to detailed outlines, treatments, and full-length scripts—that bring innovative stories to life.
- Creative Collaboration: Partner closely with directors, producers, and creative teams to refine your scripts, seamlessly integrating feedback while preserving the narrative’s core vision.
- Research & Innovation: Conduct in-depth research into cultural trends, emerging movements, and audience insights to ensure your stories are both timely and resonant.
- Revisions & Adaptability: Embrace iterative feedback and continuously refine your work, balancing creative integrity with practical production considerations.
- Industry Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships with fellow creatives and industry professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that enhances storytelling quality.
- Exploration of New Formats: Experiment with unconventional storytelling methods and narrative structures to keep our content innovative and ahead of industry trends.

Key Requirements

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in screenwriting for film, television, or digital content, with a demonstrable portfolio of produced projects.
- Creative Excellence: A strong command of narrative structure, character development, and pacing—to craft compelling and original stories that captivate audiences.
- Collaborative Spirit: An exceptional team player with prior experience working in high-energy, cross-functional creative environments.
- Research Capabilities: Adept at incorporating extensive research and dynamic cultural insights into your scripts.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using industry-standard screenwriting software (e.g., Final Draft, Celtx) to bring your constructs to life.
- Passion for Storytelling: A genuine enthusiasm for narrative craft, coupled with the ambition to innovate and shape the future of entertainment.
