Try Temps Limited in Tipton is recruiting an experienced Scrap Metal Burner to operate oxy-propane burning equipment, cutting heavy steel and oversized scrap to prepare materials for recycling. This is a hands-on, on-site role in a busy yard.

Shifts run 7am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime and an immediate start available. You will follow health and safety procedures, inspect equipment, keep the area clean, and support general scrap yard duties as required; this is not contract or

Competenze

• Previous experience as a scrap metal burner or gas cutter.
• Confident using oxy-propane cutting equipment.
• Experience cutting heavy steel and oversized scrap.
• Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious.
• Comfortable working outdoors in an industrial environment.

Mansioni

• Operating oxy-propane burning equipment to cut scrap metal and heavy steel.
• Cutting large metal items into manageable sizes for processing and recycling.
• Working safely around heavy materials, machinery and vehicles.
• Following health and safety and fire prevention procedures.
• Checking equipment and maintaining a safe working area.
• Assisting with general scrap yard duties when required.
