A leading NHS software team is looking for an Assistant Application Developer to bridge technical gaps between development and support. This role involves complex troubleshooting, development tasks, and system testing within a supportive and modern environment. The Assistant Application Developer role acts as a liaison between Application Development and Customer Support teams for various support related technical tasks such as dealing with complex customer support calls, deployments and migrations.
The post holder will also be responsible for less complex development within the main development sprint lifecycle and will work with other teams through the analysis, specification and design phases of changes or new functionality whilst also creating technical documentation where required.
The post holder will be required to work remotely out of hours to deal with system upgrades on a regular basis.
