Hartlepool Borough Council are seeking torecruit an enthusiastic and motivated health visitor, applicants must hold orbe working towards a specialist community public health nurse (SCPHN)qualification in Health Visiting.
We are also offering a retention payment for Health Visitors withno contractual tie in of £2000 for full year (pro rata). This will be paid inApril backdated and reviewed annually.
As a SCPHN health visitor you will lead and develop a family centered public health approach, working with individuals, families and communities to improve health and tackle inequalities.
You will be committed to deliver evidencebased practice, maintaining current knowledge of local and national issues thatimpact on the 0-5 population. As a specialist practitioner you will be requiredto professionally contribute to the on-going development of the health visitingoffer within the Early Help Locality Teams.
You would be supported to fulfill your rolethrough induction, training, shadowing and a preceptorship package tailored to yourindividual needs.

To work as part of anintegrated locality 0-19 Early Help team providing an effective high qualityservice to the local 0 - 5 population and their families.
To effectively managean allocated caseload with support from the integrated locality team, whichwill promote the health and wellbeing of the 0 - 5 population, so they may beenabled to reach their full potential and not be disadvantaged through illhealth or disability.
To use evidence-basedpractice to plan, deliver and evaluate public health interventions in a varietyof settings.
