Overview

Job Title: Sales Manager

Reporting to: Associate Sales Director

Territory: Scotland

Team: Part of a supportive, collaborative UK-wide sales team

Salary: £42,000 basic + £27,000 OTE bonus

Package: Company car, 25 days holiday, pension

About the Role

Due to continued business growth, this is a newly created role within the company. We're looking for a personable and proactive Sales Executive to join our dynamic UK-wide team. Covering a territory in Scotland, you'll be on the road three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home or use our Edinburgh office for the remaining two days.

This is not a hard sales role-our internal teams generate leads and support your outreach, allowing you to focus on building relationships and delivering tailored solutions. Full training will be provided on our systems, and we ask that you're available to travel to our Kettering office every two weeks for the first two months.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders across public and private sectors
  • Lead the strategy and execution of tenders and quotations, ensuring high-quality submissions
  • Maintain a proactive and well-structured diary to consistently meet and exceed sales targets
  • Follow up on leads, marketing campaigns, and new business opportunities to introduce clients to our clients offerings
  • Conduct site visits to assess locations and create bespoke design briefs and costings that meet client needs
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in sales, ideally within a consultative or design-led environment
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organised, self-motivated, and target-driven
  • Comfortable managing a territory and working independently while being part of a wider team
  • Willingness to travel regularly across Scotland.
