Job summary

WSP is seeking a capable Engineer to join the Roads team in Glasgow as a PAG Site Technician, performing inspections, auditing and monitoring aligned with Employer contracts and the PAG framework. You will verify supplier performance, maintain asset inventories and contribute to formal reports.

The role requires an HNC/HND in civil engineering or equivalent, with experience in road works and supplier oversight. A hybrid work approach and professional development support are offered in the UK.

Qualifications

• Technician level professional with HNC/HND in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Competent in inspecting, monitoring and reporting on road assets and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, audit and monitor asset inventory collection and updating for a roads network.
• Inspect, audit and monitor to assess the effectiveness and contractual compliance of Suppliers in respect of inspection regimes.
• Issue notices based on site inspections and observations in accordance with Supplier contracts.
• Verify that Suppliers records are true and accurate and confirm that works have been carried out in accordance with Specifications and other contract documentation.
• Verify that quantities and values claimed by Suppliers are a true record.
• Contribute to reports required by the Employer.
• Be fully conversant with relevant parts of Supplier Contracts.
