Greycoat Lumleys is seeking a warm, reliable Mother’s Help / Housekeeper for a busy family in Glasgow’s West End. The role combines light housekeeping with child-friendly tasks, including laundry, errands, and occasional park trips. Start ASAP for 15 hours per week across 2½ days, with a rate of £20 per hour (£300 per week).

References will be required. Experience with young children and housekeeping is preferred.

Mother’s Help / Housekeeper – Glasgow West End

Greycoat Lumley’s client are a warm and welcoming family living in Glasgow’s West End, with two lovely little children under the age of three. They are looking for a kind, reliable and proactive Mother’s Help / Housekeeper to become a valued part of our family’s daily life.

Mum loves spending time with the children and would like some extra support to make family life that little bit easier. They are looking for someone who enjoys being around young children but is equally happy keeping the house organised, taking care of the laundry, running errands and helping everything tick along smoothly.

The role will be varied, combining light housekeeping, household organisation and childcare. At times, they would like someone who can take the children to the park, play with them and confidently look after them when Mum needs to pop out.

We are looking for someone who is warm, trustworthy, organised and thoughtful — someone who sees what needs doing and takes pride in helping a busy young family.

Previous experience with young children and housekeeping would be ideal, and references will be required.

Start: ASAP

Hours: 15 hours per week over 2½ days

Pay: £20 per hour (£300 per week)
