Location: Menwith Hill, HG3

Salary: Competitive

Permanent, Full time

We are seeking a Scoping Project Manager to manage the end-to-end Billable Works (Projects) process (concept-design-pricing-delivery-handover) for a programme of Billable Works within the area of remit, ensuring a high-quality output and that all works are delivered on time and within budget.

As Scoping Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of Billable Works in accordance with Government Regulatory and Statutory undertakings, complying with all Health & Safety and Environmental standards and policies. Your responsibilities will include:
  1. Reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements to ensure they meet acceptable standards.
  2. Completing and distributing all documentation relating to Billable Works in a timely manner, including uploads to the Sharepoint system.
  3. Progressing tasks end to end through the Maximo system.
  4. Ensuring appropriate work plans and budgets are in place to achieve programmes and financial commitments.
  5. Confer with local DIO representatives, the Local Customer Service Representative, and the relevant Site Manager to agree scope, priorities, and delivery programmes of Billable Works.
  6. Managing cost and stakeholder expectations through excellent communication and sound commercial decisions.
  7. Supporting end users and management in providing optimal solutions to customer requirements.
  8. Assisting in the resolution of complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.

As part of your role, you will be scoping all aspects of construction works, including refits, refurbs, new builds, and demolitions, as well as day-to-day maintenance.

What You Need To Do The Job

First and foremost, you should be an experienced Project Manager from a Construction background with a HNC/D level qualification in Building/Civil Engineering or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

It is important that you have experience in planning, directing, and controlling activities, agreeing scope and priorities of work, proactive performance management, and possess the ability to solve problems and make decisions.

You must hold a full UK driving licence and be able to pass DV Clearance to be considered for this position. Due to the nature of the site and vetting restrictions, you must be a British National to be eligible to apply.

What We Offer:

  • Life assurance at 2 x base salary
  • 25 days annual leave
  • Single private medical cover
