Job summary

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in mobile device testing.
• Hands-on testing Android and iOS including execution, validation, and issue analysis.
• Device setup, configuration, firmware flashing, custom ROMs, test builds, and APK installation.
• Logs collection, troubleshooting, and clear defect reporting.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced QA Device Tester Lead with strong expertise in Android and iOS device testing. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in mobile device validation, software installation, test execution, defect analysis, troubleshooting, and log collection. Experience in telecom/network testing and test automation will be an added advantage.

Job Description

• Hands-on experience testing Android and iOS smartphones/tablets across different OEM devices.
• Experience configuring devices, installing software builds, applications, and test packages.
• Ability to execute test cases, follow test procedures, and accurately document results.
• Experience identifying and validating issues related to app behavior, UI responsiveness, crashes, battery consumption, thermal performance, and overall device stability.
• Experience collecting device logs and creating clear defect reports for engineering teams.
• Exposure to test automation is an added advantage.

Mandatory Skills (Must Have)

• Experience Level: 6+ years.
• Strong hands-on experience in Android and iOS device testing, including test execution, defect validation, and issue analysis.
• Experience with device setup, configuration, firmware flashing, custom ROMs, test builds, and APK installation.
• Ability to collect logs, troubleshoot device/network issues, and report defects effectively.

Good to Have

• Networking or telecom testing experience.
• Knowledge of APN configuration, band locking, NV changes, network troubleshooting, and log analysis.
• Experience with network performance validation, signal testing, and connectivity testing.
