Job summary

Certain Advantage in Portsmouth is seeking a SCOF Systems Engineer to join a small, focused team delivering ground control systems for military satellite communications. The role is contract-based and office-based, with responsibilities spanning requirements analysis, IVV&T support, and interface with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
• Knowledge of Systems or Large Scale Integration.
• Understanding of satellite control.
• Strong presentation and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Requirements analysis, traceability and verification.
• Bill of Materials / Assembly Tree Management.
• Integration, Verification Validation and Test (IVV&T) support.
• Problem Definition, Non-Conformance and Observation recording and tracking.
• Ground System-level architectural design definition and trade-offs.
• Inform stakeholders on progress and problem resolution.
