Job summary

University of Leeds invites a medically qualified clinician to join the Scleroderma research team under Professor Francesco Del Galdo. You will lead translational studies and serve as sub-investigator in clinical trials.

The role covers interventional trials, observational studies (Strike), and potential imaging projects (MRI and ultrasound); GMC registration with MRCP is required, with NHS pay scale-based salary.

Qualifications

• Medically qualified with GMC registration and MRCP (or equivalent).
• Experience in rheumatology and autoimmune diseases.
• Experience in clinical research and trials.
• Awareness of NHS pay scale status for junior doctors in training.

Responsibilities

• Lead translational research studies in scleroderma (SSc).
• Act as sub-investigator in interventional clinical trials.
• Support interventional trials and actively recruiting observational studies (Strike).
• Contribute to imaging-based projects (MRI and ultrasound) where applicable.
