Job summary

The University of Leeds invites applications for a clinician-researcher to join the Scleroderma research team led by Professor Francesco Del Galdo. You will lead translational studies and contribute as a sub investigator in clinical trials, with a focus on understanding disease progression from early to active systemic sclerosis.

The post involves supporting interventional trials and an actively recruiting observational study (Strike), with potential imaging projects (MRI/ultrasound).

Qualifications

• Must hold GMC registration and license to practise.
• Strong clinical background in rheumatology and immunology.
• MRCP or equivalent required.
• Experience in translational research or clinical trials is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead translational research projects in scleroderma.
• Act as sub-investigator in interventional clinical trials.
• Support active observational studies and imaging projects (MRI/ultrasound).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and report to the project lead.
