Role Overview

The primary purpose of this role is to support cross-functional efforts using the ImmTAX platform or other modalities in developing treatments for chronic infections such as HIV, HBV, and EBV-associated diseases. The team is involved in various stages of drug discovery and development, from target discovery to clinical trials.

The postholder will plan, design, and execute experiments to advance the company's pipeline, ensuring project goals are met within time and budget constraints. Responsibilities include data analysis, scientific creativity, and sharing results internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, design, and execute experiments under guidance to meet project goals
  • Perform experiments using molecular and cellular techniques such as NextGen sequencing, DD-PCR, qPCR, cell culture, flow cytometry, ELISpots, ELISAs
  • Work in a containment level 3 (CL3) facility handling human viruses
  • Analyze data, interpret results, and recommend next steps
  • Expand scientific knowledge through literature review, conferences, and seminars
  • Collaborate effectively within matrixed and cross-functional teams
  • Present results at internal meetings and establish collaborations
Essential Qualifications
  • PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, genomics, virology, immunology, or related field with 0-2 years of experience
  • Or BSc/MSc with relevant scientific experience
  • Experience in laboratory techniques such as Droplet Digital PCR, NextGen sequencing, PCR, mutagenesis, qPCR
  • Proficiency in culturing primary cells or cell lines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Immunology, HIV, HBV, EBV
  • Experience with flow cytometry, ELISAs, ELISpots
  • Viral integration site analysis
