We are currently recruiting for Scientist II roles to join the ADQC team. The purpose of this role is to perform and report laboratory-based experiments in accordance with scientific and regulatory requirements.

Our ADQC team supports product development through analytical testing to facilitate manufacturing, shelf life setting, and process development, ensuring appropriate quality controls and analytics.

Opportunities are available within our:

Darwin team which performs lab-based analytical assays (PCR, ELISA, Tissue culture, Gel electrophoresis) to support QC batch release, development, and investigations.

Curie team which performs lab-based analytical assays (PCR, Tissue culture in Containment Level 3 Laboratories) to support QC batch release, development, and investigations.

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Performing analytical testing for QC release and stability.
  • Completing GxP paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Understanding experimental design and implementation principles.
  • Flagging process improvements to management.
  • Identifying non-conformances (OOS, OOE, CC) and completing related documentation under supervision.
  • Reporting to the Group Leader or delegated Scientist (Grade 5-6).
  • Ensuring task completion based on criticality.
  • Maintaining and ensuring compliance of a GxP laboratory area and procedures.
  • Adhering to the OXB Quality Management System.
  • Prioritizing safety and demonstrating good laboratory citizenship.

We are looking for:

  • A minimum of a BSc Degree in a relevant discipline or basic experience in a related environment.
  • Demonstrable competencies in laboratory tasks and experimental procedures.
  • Understanding of laboratory health and safety requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Some knowledge of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements such as GMP, GLP, GCP, and validation and quality systems.
  • Familiarity with regulatory guidelines for analytical work (e.g., product specifications, stability testing).
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
