Job Description:

Our lab integrates machine learning and high-throughput biochemistry to study protein substrate recognition, its perturbation in cancer, and drug development for overcoming resistance. Located at the CRUK Cambridge Institute, part of the University of Cambridge and funded by Cancer Research UK, we are seeking a Scientific Personal Assistant (Research Administrator).

We value motivated candidates who share our lab values and can help maintain our positive culture. Your role involves working with the Junior Group Leader and the research team to coordinate laboratory priorities, provide personal and lab administration, facilitate recruitment, manage finances, and liaise with internal and external contacts, including university staff, collaborators, and seminar speakers.

The role requires independence and collaboration skills, with support from experienced administrators to aid your professional growth. Our institute connects laboratory research to clinical applications in cancer, aiming to improve patient outcomes.

The University promotes equality, diversity, and inclusion and encourages applications from all societal sections. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
