Job summary

Sciterion is seeking a Scientific Director to shape scientific strategy across medical affairs from pre-launch through to launch and beyond. You will lead content and drive strategy, while guiding senior stakeholders with an evidence-based viewpoint.

You will mentor the scientific team, manage client projects across multiple therapy areas, and ensure high-quality medical writing for accounts. A PhD or Masters is advantageous, with strong UK/EU regulatory understanding.

Qualifications

• Degree educated in science or medicine with a strong scientific background; a PhD or Masters would be an advantage.
• Proven experience in a range of therapy areas within a medical communications environment.
• In-depth understanding of UK and European medical regulatory environment

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to ensure excellent client relationships and account performance.
• Lead and coach the broader scientific team to ensure excellence in project delivery across therapy areas.
• Lead proposal development and client pitches, and oversee budgeting and allocations.
• Act as scientific and strategic counsel to address comments intelligently and ensure accuracy.

We're hiring for a Scientific Director who will shape content and drive scientific strategy. The role You will be a source of scientific, editorial and therapy area expertise within Sciterion, providing strategic direction and management across our client accounts. You will lead and coach the wider scientific team to ensure excellence in the delivery of client projects across a wide range of therapy areas.

Key responsibilities
