Job Title: Science Tutor with SEN Experience
Location:

Temporary, Part-Time hours

Job Duties:
  • Provide one-on-one tutoring in Science subjects to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create individualised lesson plans to accommodate students' learning styles and needs
  • Assist students in understanding complex scientific concepts and theories
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educational professionals regarding student progress
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Demonstrated expertise in Science subjects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a Science-related field

Experience:

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching Science subjects, particularly with students with SEN

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Science curriculum and teaching methods
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with SEN
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or Special Education
  • Additional training or certification in teaching students with SEN
