Location: Woolwich, South East London
Pay Rate: 25- 35 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
Job Type: Temporary Part-Time Flexible Hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging tuition in GCSE Science, tailored to each student's learning needs.
• Plan structured lessons that support curriculum understanding, exam preparation, and academic success.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to ensure complex mathematical concepts are accessible and clear.
• Adapt your approach for learners with SEN where required, creating an inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and record progress, providing feedback to parents, carers, or education teams as needed.

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring GCSE Science.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Must have, or be willing to undertake, an Enhanced DBS check.
• Strong subject knowledge with the ability to communicate concepts effectively and confidently.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• PGCE in Secondary Science and/or Qualified Teacher Status.
• Experience supporting students with SEN or learning difficulties is highly desirable.
